84 days, dwarf — 'Clare Valley Pink' is a vigorous, rugose, regular leaf dwarf that produces good yields of round, pink, small to medium sized tomatoes with a nice balanced flavor.
The "Grumpy" family originated from a cross made by Patrina Nuske Small between 'Black from Tula' and 'Budai Torpe'. 'Clare Valley Pink' was selected and named by Patrina, with Craig LeHoullier and Ted Maiden contributing to the selection work, and Bill Minkey growing out the final selection. Each packet contains at least 20 seeds.
In an effort to keep this variety available to home gardeners, 'Clare Valley Pink' has been released by "The Dwarf Tomato Project" (the breeder) to the public under the Open Source Seed Initiative (OSSI). You have the freedom to use these OSSI-Pledged seeds in any way you choose. In return, if you save seeds or use 'Clare Valley Pink' to breed a new variety, you pledge not to restrict others' use of these seeds or their derivatives by patents or other means, and to include this pledge with any transfer of these seeds or their derivatives.
