85 days — The plants reach twenty-two to thirty-two inches in height producing pods that contain two to four seeds each. The beans are very large in size, dull and black in color and have a richer flavor than many varieties. Excellent as edamame, pronounced "ed-uh-mah-may." Each packet contains 25 to 30 seeds.
Planting Instructions: Soybeans are a tender plant and should be sown after all danger of frost has passed and the soil has warmed. Planting them at about the same time as corn is a good rule.

Sow seeds about one inch deep, three to four inches apart. Although you can plant in rows, they can be planted densely and allowed to form a canopy. This will help control weed growth. Soybeans are tolerant of drought and poor soil since they fix nitrogen. They will, however, benefit from fertile soil.

Soybean flowers are perfect (self-fertile) and cross pollination is almost non-existent, making saving seed easy. Allow pods to fully develop and dry on the plants.

★★★★★ Resilient and delicious ... Excellent as edamame.
By Jesse Pagan on August 22, 2016

Out of 25 seeds, only 2 failed to germinate. Grew quickly, like most beans and has survived the Japanese beetle onslaught. The beetles stripped them almost entirely of their leaves, I sprayed them with cayenne pepper tea and the plants bounced back in no time. The beans themselves are very flavorful. Excellent as edamame, as the description claims. Good yields, too. Would grow again.
