80 days, determinate — An orange-fruited tomato bred to be superior in disease resistance and plant habit over other southern market varieties. Plants are compact and produce heavy yields of smooth-skinned, medium-large (up to 14 ounce) fruit that are flattened-globe shaped.
Originally titled NC 84173, this open-pollinated variety was released in 1990. Bred by Dr. Randolph G. Gardner at the North Carolina State Mountain Horticultural Crops Research Station. PVP expired in 2010. Each packet contains approximately 20 seeds.
