60 days, dwarf — The rugose, regular leaf plants of 'Dwarf Eagle Smiley' look like a smaller version of a standard cherry-type tomato plant, reaching about five feet in height. They are extremely productive and loaded with one ounce, bright to golden-yellow, globe-shaped fruit that are borne in clusters of eight to ten tomatoes. In spite of their small size, these little flavor bombs explode in your mouth with an intense sugary goodness that at first masks the fact that you are eating a tomato, and lingers long enough that you are assured that you did. Its outstanding flavor, perhaps the best flavored of all of the released dwarf cherry-types to date, is on a par with the best indeterminate and hybrid varieties.

'Dwarf Eagle Smiley' is the first release from the Dwarf Tomato Project's "Teensy" family. It was created by Craig LeHoullier from a cross between Dwarf Tomato Project release 'Summertime Green' with indeterminate heirloom 'Mexico Midget'. The variety was selected and named by Justin Sieglaff from material grown out by Linda Black. Craig LeHoullier, Mike Dunton and John Dunton are the other significant contributors. It was introduced by the Victory Seed Company in 2022. Each packet contains at least 20 seeds.
