Craig made some dwarf selections with purple fruit and distinct black purple shoulders in 2017. The best selection from 2018 was named 'Dwarf Mocha's Cherry'. It was further stabilized by Chan Mortimer. It was introduced by the Victory Seed Company in 2022.

Full light and cooler temps (60° to 70°) will help to prevent the seedlings from becoming too leggy. If plants become rootbound before you can safely set them into the ground, transplant them into larger pots.
Harden off plants before planting outside. Young plants are very susceptible to frost and sunburn damage. Avoid too much nitrogen. Water evenly but not in excess.

This is a great looking and insanely productive variety. I'm back at the site to re-order. needs staking as it gets older. Produced into November, when it froze. It would not quit and was very abundant

I didn't really have high hopes for this tomato as all of my dwarfs that i have tried fail to produce and the flowers drop in Kentucky's summer heat and humidity, but this one really powered through it with ZERO issues. it produced very well for me, and it had amazing flavor! I must admit that I neglected this one and didn't give it as much water as I did other and it still pushed through! I would recommend this tomato to anybody.

Although I started these indoors and planted the last week of May, in-ground as well as in pots, they didn't start ripening for 90 - 100 days which is pushing it for frost time around here. They did ripen quickly once they started and produced loads of pretty, tasty fruit. I would suggest putting a peony cage around them as when the fruit sets they get top heavy and some of them flopped over. I will know for next time and there will be a next time. They were perfect for larger pots (that you can fit the peony cage in). I can't believe I didn't take a picture of them before our hard frost last night (October 7th, 2025)

I planted these tomatoes for the first time last year and I love them! They are very strong, compact and hearty plant that produce a lot of fruit. The tomatoes are a stunning black with green and then red, a true eye catcher in the garden. They may be slow to ripen but can be picked and kept in the house to ripen, I put them with a banana to help with this process. The tomatoes are sweet full bodied. I dug one of the plants up out of my garden at the end of the season last year and overwintered it in my basement, it even produced some fruit! I will be planting this variety again in my garden and also in a demonstration garden I am involved with.

I have grown these tomatoes for the past two seasons. This year I used some to make some salsa and it turned out wonderful. The tomatoes are very meaty, full of flavor and seam to be disease resistant.

This tomato starts blooming and setting fruit very early. The clusters of round cherry tomatoes develop a nearly black blue pigmentation where exposed to the sun, due to the anthocyanin pigment gene that was bred into the family. The. tomatoes actually ripen dusky rose purple. The flavor is mild, lightly sweet, and tasty. This is a real attention getter when tossed into salads.
