Easy Care Children's Garden Mix


This wildflower mix is formulated to be especially easy to grow and care for. An excellent low-maintenance addition to a flower bed or a corner of your vegetable garden and for sharing with the young gardeners in your life. 

Each packet contains one ounce which will cover approximately 150 square feet. 


Our mix includes the following eleven annual and perennial varieties: Candytuft (Iberis umbellata), Zinnia 'Pumila,' Sulphur Cosmos 'Bright Lights' (Cosmos bipinnatus),  Baby's Breath (Gypsophila elegans), Scarlet Flax (Linum grandiflorum rubrum), Tall Blue Cornflower (Centaurea cyanus), Calendula 'Pacific Beauty,' Red Corn Poppy (Papaver rhoeas), Catchfly (Silene armeria), Plains Coreopsis (Coreopsis tinctoria), and Gloriosa Daisy (Coreopsis tinctoria).

Planting Instructions: As early in the spring as possible, prepare your flower bed site by removing weeds and loosening the soil. You can sow the seeds by broadcasting and then raking them into the soil. The goal is for the seeds to make good soil contact and to be covered with light soil no more than two-and-a-half times their thickness. Germination will start occurring when the soil reaches about 55ºF. The area will need to be kept moist until germination occurs.

This mix has been a complete and utter delight for me and my family. We've made so many bouquets for everyone we know and my kids liked picking all of the blooms and I didn't have to worry. I used a soaker hose to get it to sprout and medium water to keep it going on clay soils in a hot area. Amazing mix and I get so much pleasure from it. Thank you, Victory Seeds!
