Northeastern Wildflower Mix
Our Northeastern Wildflower Mix contains a selection of flower well-suited for gardeners in Eastern Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Delaware, New Brunswick and southern Quebec. Annual flower varieties are included to provide color the first year with perennial species supplying blooms for years to come.
Each packet contains one (1) ounce which will cover approximately 250 square feet.
The mix includes the following eighteen annual and perennial varieties: White Yarrow, Cornflower, Siberian Wallflower, Scarlet Flax, New England Aster, Shasta Daisy, Lance-leafed Coreopsis, Rocket Larkspur, Sweet William, Purple Coneflower, Annual Gaillardia, Annual Baby's Breath, Spurred Snapdragon, Perennial Lupine, Black-eyed Susan, Evening Primrose, Corn Poppy, Sweet William Catchfly.




Planting Instructions: As early in the spring as possible, prepare your flower bed site by removing weeds and loosening the soil. You can sow the seeds by broadcasting and then raking them into the soil. The goal is for the seeds to make good soil contact and to be covered with light soil no more than two-and-a-half times their thickness. Germination will start occurring when the soil reaches about 55ºF. The area will need to be kept moist until germination occurs.
