The Yellow Canary Tomato is a micro dwarf variety of tomato that produces delicious, small fruit that are bursting with flavor. This plant is perfect for small spaces or container gardens, as it grows to a maximum height of 12 inches. Despite its small size, the Yellow Canary Tomato produces an impressive yield of juicy, yellow fruit that are perfect for snacking or adding to salads. This non-GMO, open-pollinated variety is easy to grow and produces fruit throughout the growing season. Yellow Canary is resistant to verticillium and fusarium wilt. 50% germination - this packet contains 50 seed to compensate.

Sow seeds indoors (do not direct sow into the garden), using sterile seed starting mix, 6 to 8 weeks before your last expected frost date. Plant 1/4" deep, water lightly but keep moist until emergence.

Full light and cooler temps (60° to 70°) will help to prevent the seedlings from becoming too leggy. If plants become rootbound before you can safely set them into the ground, transplant them into larger pots.

Harden off plants before planting outside. Young plants are very susceptible to frost and sunburn damage. Avoid too much nitrogen. Water evenly but not in excess.

this one wasn't as productive as the red velvet but the taste is better and it also stayed the perfect size for this container. we had issues with leaf-footed bugs this year. I use blue sticky pads to prevent leaf miners. all the seeds of this one germinated but only two plants ever produced fruit- probably because they were lower in the green stalk and the dog ate them when green . It has been a hot, dry summer here.

WOW epic tomato! Grown in Aerogarden inside. Sown March 1st, first ripe fruit May 15th, 75 days! I have 42 tomatos in various growth on this 9inch plant! So much fruit the plant was leaning, I gave side support which worked well. Kept growing suckers that touched the grow light, I snipped them and stuck them in dirt. It grew roots and is now its own plant! Main plant put out 3 more suckers I had to snip, the plant doesn't mind at all! Needed very little maintenance other than removing suckers touching the grow light. If my light could be taller I wouldn't snip any suckers!!! Tomatoes took awhile to ripen, almost 3 weeks. They taste great! I'd say they have a classic cherry tomato taste, very balanced, not too tart or too sweet, juicy and tomato-y. I'd highly recommend it!
