Honey 'N Pearl is specially bred to contain twice the sugar of regular sweet corn and retains its flavor and tenderness up to 2 weeks longer than regular sweet corn. The 9" ears born on 6' tall plants are very tightly husked with 16-18 rows of white and yellow kernels that are symmetrical, tightly packed and plump. A 1988 All-America Selections winner.

For a number of years I grew King Kool sweet corn from Burpee but that disappeared and I've been trying some other varieties that allow for multiple plantings in a northern growing season . This is a nice bi-color sweet corn, plants are relatively short but the ears are a decent size with some plants producing a second smaller ear. I planted this at the same time as Northern Xtra Sweet (2025 season) and harvest time was similar but the taste of Honey 'N Pearl was superior. I'm going all-in with this variety this year.
