SKU: 3403134180 days, dwarf - The rugose, regular leaf plants of 'Dwarf Phyl's Ivory Beauty' are erect and compact, reaching 2 to 3 feet in height. 'Dwarf Phyl's Ivory Beauty' was bred as a cross made between 'Yellow White' and 'Dwarf Jade Beauty' by Craig LeHoullier. Craig found the ivory colored tomato on a regular leaf dwarf plant and named it for his mom Phyl. Additional work was done by Susan Oliverson and Bill Minkey.
It was released by the Victory Seed Company to the gardening public for the 2024 season.
Brand new limited release for 2024. Each packet contains approximatelyย 20 seeds.
I grew this indoors in a hydroponic bato bucket system. It's productive, and the tomatoes are a good size. I like that they all ripen at about the same time. Plant is fairly small. I'm only giving this variety 3 stars because most of my tomatoes came out mealy, and some of them were fibrous in the middle. Flavor is good, but the texture means these are all getting turned into sauce or gazpacho.
It isn't huge, and won't be the absolute best tomato you've eaten, but it is among the top ivory colored tomatoes I've grown. This is a lovely uniquely colored salad tomato that gardeners will love.
