SKU: 34031341'Dwarf Phyl's Ivory Beauty' was bred as a cross made between 'Yellow White' and 'Dwarf Jade Beauty' by Craig LeHoullier. Craig found the ivory colored tomato on a regular leaf dwarf plant and named it for his mom Phyl. Additional work was done by Susan Oliverson and Bill Minkey.
It was released by the Victory Seed Company to the gardening public for the 2024 season.
Brand new limited release for 2024.
Full light and cooler temps (60° to 70°) will help to prevent the seedlings from becoming too leggy. If plants become rootbound before you can safely set them into the ground, transplant them into larger pots.
Harden off plants before planting outside. Young plants are very susceptible to frost and sunburn damage. Avoid too much nitrogen. Water evenly but not in excess.

I grew this indoors in a hydroponic bato bucket system. It's productive, and the tomatoes are a good size. I like that they all ripen at about the same time. Plant is fairly small. I'm only giving this variety 3 stars because most of my tomatoes came out mealy, and some of them were fibrous in the middle. Flavor is good, but the texture means these are all getting turned into sauce or gazpacho.

It isn't huge, and won't be the absolute best tomato you've eaten, but it is among the top ivory colored tomatoes I've grown. This is a lovely uniquely colored salad tomato that gardeners will love.
