There appears to have been a literal mix-up in my packet of Cascadia snap peas, as some grew like snow peas (or perhaps not all peas will grow true to type?). The ones that grew as snap peas were quite good (sweet, crisp, juicy) and more disease resistant in my area than Sugar Daddy snap peas.

We had great luck with these! Very high germination and they grew up great in spite of a sudden frost early in their development. I was a little worried about whether or not this cross would be tough, but these are some truly delicious snap peas! We like them the best after they've reached about 2 inches long, but it is hard not to just snack on them whenever you see them on the vine XD

If I have to choose only one variety of pea to grow, this will be it. Peas are large size and perfect shape and extremely sweet. Compact plants don't need a very high trellis. This is the most memorable peas I ever tasted. It does not even get old when you harvest late, it actually taste even sweeter. Highly recommended.
