Asclepias tuberosa
By far this is the most common and popular of the milkweed plants to grow. Does not spread by tubers and makes a strong taproot. Hardy and vigorous, easy to establish, beloved by pollinators, and of course, a host plant for the monarch butterfly.
Stratify (keep in a moist papertowel in a plastic bag in the fridge) seeds for 30 days for best germination.
Each packet contains 1 gram which is approximately 200 seeds.
