Rosy Morn
90 days, indeterminate — The plants of 'Rosy Morn' are vigorous with dense, regular leaf foliage that provides good protection for the developing fruit from the sun.Livingston's 1933 catalog describes 'Rosy Morn' as, "An early, bright rosy pink variety, coming into bearing close up to 'Earliana.' It is smooth, and the very solid, fleshy fruit ripen evenly and are surprisingly free from cracks about the stem. It is a very fine slicing sort, being of mild and delicious flavor. A good strong grower of vigorous foliage. A heavy yielder."
Originally introduced by the Livingston Seed Company in 1923, our seed was grown out from National Seed Storage Lab accession number NSL 27194. Each packet contains approximately 20 seeds.
Although the name of this variety contains a modern company's name, the seed we are offering is in no way sourced from, "owned by" or connected with that company. The name is simply the historically accurate, common name for the variety giving credit to the seedsman that originally released it.
