'Cactus Flowered Mix'
Zinnia elegans
Cactus flowered zinnias are stunning and tall, reaching up to 3 feet, with blooms ranging in colors from creamy whites, yellows, oranges, pinks, reds and lavenders. The petals have an interesting tubuler shape that give texture and depth to the flower. As with other zinnias, these are highly attractive to bees, butterflies and birds and are great as a cut flower. Native to Mexico; fast growing and long blooming.
They can be sown indoors four to six weeks before your last expected frost, or you can wait and sow directly into your garden as soon as all danger of frost has passed. Plants should be spaced nine to twelve inches apart. Water regularly but don't over water. They make a nice border planting. Each packet contains 1 gram, which is approximately 200 seeds.
