UC-157 F2 Asparagus

The UC-157 F2 Asparagus variety, developed by the University of California, is a successor to the original hybrid UC 157 F1 lineage. This open-pollinated F2 generation will showcase  higher variabiliy than normal, and will yield green spears measuring 6-12 inches with diameters of around 2.5 inches. Robust with commendable resistance to rust and root rot. Ideally suited for warm regions with mild winters, it can be cultivated across the USA with appropriate mulching during colder seasons. Each packet contains 1 gram which is approximately 30 seeds.
