Full light and cooler temps (60° to 70°) will help to prevent the seedlings from becoming too leggy. If plants become rootbound before you can safely set them into the ground, transplant them into larger pots.
Harden off plants before planting outside. Young plants are very susceptible to frost and sunburn damage. Avoid too much nitrogen. Water evenly but not in excess.

Awesome tomatoes, work good in sauces, salsa, sun dried ect. Let your imagination go wild.

Started five different paste tomatoes inside and planted when soil warmed, we had a late cold night, not frost but close, the other varieties survived but not this one. Might have been a good producer but never got to find out.

It produced really well I kept getting tomatoes well into fall.

This is a very pasty tomato. It has far more flesh than a Roma tomato, the only paste tomatoes I have usually seen in the store. I would never have guessed the variety as determinate. The plant I have is currently over four feet tall and two feet wide, and continues to grow in both directions. Although I have only had a few tomatoes so far, there are dozens currently at full size that just need to ripen.

This is a rich flavored, hardy (more meaty than juicy), super producing tomato.
