'Pennsylvania Red' is a cigar filler type tobacco also used for cigar binder. The plants grows to about forty-eight inches tall when topped, and reach five to six feet when allowed to flower.
Its leaves are egg-shaped in outline and attached to the plant stalks at the broad end. Typical leaves are eleven inches wide by twenty-nine inches long.
Our seed originated from USDA accession number PI 552741 and is grown for us by David Pendergrass from Tennessee.
