90 days, indeterminate - The fruit are slightly flattened globe shaped, red colored, full flavored, and possessing a good texture. The weights range from three to ten ounces. It is good for fresh eating and marketing as well as canning.
'Pan America' was a developed by William S. Porte at the USDA's Plant Industry Station, Beltsville, Maryland from a stabilized cross between the 'Marglobe' tomato and a wild red currant tomato that was found on the Pacific coast of Peru, South America. It exhibits a high resistance to Fusarium wilt as well as
nailhead rust. Introduced in 1941.
