Lvinoe Serdtse

90 days, indeterminate — 'Lvinoe Serdtse' translates to "Lion's Heart" from Russian. The regular leaf plants bear fruit weighing from four to twelve ounces, are red, oblate to slightly elongated in shape with some fruit being pointed on the blossom end. An excellent slicer when picked fresh, it is also great for canning.


Originally a Russian commercial variety from Aelita Seed, it was sent to us by our friend and heirloom tomato collector, Dr. Carolyn Male (NY MA C). Each packet contains approximately 20 seeds.
