90 days, indeterminate — Another great variety sent to us in 2002 by author and tomato authority Craig LeHoullier. The sturdy, potato leaf plants grow tall and do require caging or staking. 'Lucky Cross' fruit are beautiful, bi-colored, large (sixteen to twenty ounces) with some ribbing at the shoulders. They are juicy, fruity, and similar in flavor to 'Little Lucky'.

Although it shares the same pedigree as 'Little Lucky', with the help of Craig's local gardening friend, Larry Bohs, it has been stabilized and selected for oblate shape and larger size. Craig and Larry made it available to members of the Seed Savers Exchange in 2002. The Victory Seed Company introduced it commercially in 2004. Each packet contains approximately 20 seeds.
Special Groups: "Epic" Tomatoes
Harvest Timing: Late Season

★★★★★ Great quality seeds!

I came across some Lucky Cross seeds I bought from Victory Seeds in 2004. Just wanted to report that they still had great germination 14 years later even with non-optimal storage conditions ... Thank you so much for the high quality seeds!

★★★★★ Superb tasting!

This superb tasting bicolored tomato made me want to weep when I took a bite into it, it's really that rich and delicous! You can taste the Brandywine parentage. Although it ripens late in the season and has variable production, the taste alone has made this tomato a keeper in my garden. I won't even share these with the neighbors, I keep them all to myself!
