Lucky Cross Tomato
Price: $3.66
SKU: 3401011Although it shares the same pedigree as 'Little Lucky', with the help of Craig's local gardening friend, Larry Bohs, it has been stabilized and selected for oblate shape and larger size. Craig and Larry made it available to members of the Seed Savers Exchange in 2002. The Victory Seed Company introduced it commercially in 2004.
Harvest Timing: Late Season
Full light and cooler temps (60° to 70°) will help to prevent the seedlings from becoming too leggy. If plants become rootbound before you can safely set them into the ground, transplant them into larger pots.
Harden off plants before planting outside. Young plants are very susceptible to frost and sunburn damage. Avoid too much nitrogen. Water evenly but not in excess.

Lucky Cross is again a true star in my backyard garden. I get consistently great taste and use them in my daily recipes as well as in canning. Excellent quality seeds.

I came across some Lucky Cross seeds I bought from Victory Seeds in 2004. Just wanted to report that they still had great germination 14 years later even with non-optimal storage conditions ... Thank you so much for the high quality seeds!

This superb tasting bicolored tomato made me want to weep when I took a bite into it, it's really that rich and delicous! You can taste the Brandywine parentage. Although it ripens late in the season and has variable production, the taste alone has made this tomato a keeper in my garden. I won't even share these with the neighbors, I keep them all to myself!
