Full light and cooler temps (60° to 70°) will help to prevent the seedlings from becoming too leggy. If plants become rootbound before you can safely set them into the ground, transplant them into larger pots.
Harden off plants before planting outside. Young plants are very susceptible to frost and sunburn damage. Avoid too much nitrogen. Water evenly but not in excess.

Loxton Lass is by far our favorite of the dwarf tomatoes I've tried. Beautiful, tasty orange fruit that were a good size. Everybody I shared them with was asking "What were those delicious orange ones?" Definitely planting more of those next season.

Excellent sweet tomato for sandwiches, salads, or eating plain. Great addition to tomato sauce to balance the acidity from other tomato varieties. We grew this variety for the first time in 2022 and are so pleased with the sturdiness of the plants and quality of fruit, we plan to grow them for many years to come.

Loxton Lass is a medium-sized, slightly oblate tomato (averaging around six ounces) that ripens to a truly beautiful shade of orange. It is a very productive plant that handled our 2020 heatwave quite well, all things considered. The interior flesh is very meaty with small seed locules, so it holds its shape well when sliced. The flavor is quite sweet and, due to that, it doesn't have a prominent acidic kick. And it isn't an intense flavor profile (leans a bit more on the milder side of the equation), but it is quite pleasing and versatile in many dishes. I look forward to growing it again in the not-too-distant future.
