90 days, indeterminate — 'Louisiana Dixie' has regular leaf vines that are vigorous and resistant to both fusarium wilt and cracking. The fruit are slightly flattened globe-shaped, and pink in color.
Bred by Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge as a stabilized cross between 'Louisiana Pink' and 'Walter Richard' (Gulf States selection). It was released by the Reuter Seed Company in 1936. Our parent stock source was the USDA, ARS accession number NSL 2879. Each packet contains approximately 20 seeds.
