Linnie's Oxheart Tomato
Linnie's Oxheart Tomato
97 days, indeterminate — The regular leaf plants of 'Linnie's Oxheart' bear fruit that are red, heart-shaped, and get quite large weighing up to eighteen ounces each. They are quite meaty, rivaling some paste-type fruit, and deliver a palate-pleasing full flavor that tends to lean towards the sweet side of center.
Originally sent to Mike Dunton by the late Dr. Carolyn Male (NY MA C) in 2008, 'Linnie's Oxheart' was shared by "Big Red" from Kentucky who got the seeds from an elderly neighbor, Linnie Sears. Linnie had been growing this variety for many years prior. Each packet contains approximately 20 seeds.
