Lemon Boy Plus F1 Tomato

Indeterminate - 75 days to maturity. Lemon Boy Plus is an improved version of the classic Lemon Boy, one of the best-selling tomatoes in the US and Canada. It keeps what made the original popular: bright yellow color, mild sweet-tangy flavor, and heavy yields. It adds sweeter fruit, better firmness, and stronger disease resistance^[1].

The fruits are flattened-round and usually weigh 6 to 8 oz. Size, shape, and quality are very even, with few blemishes. Brix averages about 6.6, compared to about 5.7 in the original Lemon Boy, so the flavor is sweeter but still tangy. The firmer flesh gives the fruit a longer shelf life and less radial cracking. You can pick anywhere from bright lemon yellow to deeper golden yellow, once the fruit shows light checking and a faint blush at the blossom end. Pick a little underripe if you want a more acidic flavor.
