Kandy Korn is a yellow sugary-enhanced (SE) hybrid sweet corn and one of the first SE types ever released. Decades later it is still one of the best-tasting sweet corn varieties you can plant, and it remains the standard choice for home gardens and small farms.
The kernels are golden yellow, tender, and juicy with a creamy texture and a full, classic corn taste. As an SE type, Kandy Korn has more sugar than standard (su) sweet corn but keeps that traditional corn flavor instead of trading it for pure sweetness. It is good fresh off the grill and it freezes well.

Planting Instructions:
Soil must be at least 65ºF to germinate. Be patient and do not plant too early or you will waste a lot of seed! Plant in full sun and keep it watered. Corn is a wind-pollinated plant. Plant in blocks several rows wide to ensure full ears.
Sow seeds about 1½ to 2½ inch deep, 3 to 4 inches apart, in rows spaced 24 to 30 inches apart. Thin to 6 to 12 inches apart.
