80 days — The fruit are up to six inches in diameter with a tough, coarsely netted skin and sweet, flavorful salmon colored flesh. The plants are vigorous, produce five to seven fruit per plant and are fusarium wilt resistant.
'Honey Rock', also known as 'Sugar Rock', is the a result of a stabilized cross between 'Champlain', 'Irondequoit' and 'Honey Dew' and was introduced by Watt Richardson[1] in 1925.[2] Henry Field presented it as one of "Henry's Favorites" in his 1933 seed annual. It was also an "All-America Selection®" winner in 1933. Each packet contains one gram, which is approximately 36 seeds.

Planting Instructions:
The seeds can be directly sown in spring after the soil has warmed or started indoors three to four weeks before your last expected frost.
Indoors, plant two to three seeds per pot, ½ inch deep, thinning to best plant. Do not disturb roots.
Outdoors, plant six to eight seeds, ½ inch deep, in hills spaced four feet apart. Transplant or thin to three plants per hill.
Young plants are cold sensitive and some cover protection at nights may be required. Mulch or cultivate to control weeds.

2 plants, 11 melons, very sweet, only complaint is they are only baseball size at best, still looking for a bigger cantaloupe for my elevation of 5000 ft.

Just ate the first Honey Rock muskmelon from our 2012 garden and what a little gem they are! I couldn't wait for the 5 inch diameter muskmelon to be chilled so I cut it open to find a fully ripe, apricot-colored flesh with a small seed cavity and the hard green rind that was only 1/8 of an inch thick. This is one of the best melons I have every tasted! What is lacks in size it makes up for in taste! Honey Rock melons will be a permanent staple in my garden.
