85 days, indeterminate — 'Giant Belgium', sometimes sold as 'Giant Belgium Pink', have fruit that have smooth blossoms ends, average one to two pounds each and are dark pink in color. They have a sweet, mild, low acid flavor. An excellent slicing variety and makes good juice.
Although 'Giant Belgium' has been around for a long time, its exact history and origin is unknown. Depending on which "history" you read, it is said to have originated in Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Tennessee. Each packet contains approximately 20 seeds.
