85 days, indeterminate — 'Fish Lake Oxheart' plants are a wispy, regular leaf type, and for its stature, it is very productive. As its name implies, the fruit are heart-shaped, large (twelve to sixteen ounces), pink in color, very meaty with few seeds, and have an excellent taste.
'Fish Lake Oxheart' was sent to us in 2011 by the late Dr. Carolyn Male who described it as, "One of the best hearts I've run across lately." Carolyn received this variety from Neil Gillard (ONT GI N). Neil received the seed from the late Ted Maczka, also known as the Fish Lake Garlic Man, of Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada. Each packet contains approximately 20 seeds.
