Dwarf Shimmering Beauty
(A 2025 Victory Seed Company Introduction)
90 days, dwarf - The rugose, regular leaf plants of 'Dwarf Shimmering Beauty' produce a high yield of 6 to 16 ounce, nearly round to oblate shaped tomatoes that are striped light and dark green. The juicy flesh is green when ripe, sometimes with a pale pink blossom end blush that permiates into the center. The flavor is outstanding, complex, and deliciously tart.
'Dwarf Shimmering Beauty' got its start when Vince Lavalle crossed 'Beauty King' with 'Dwarf Wild Fred'. Susan Oliverson and Craig LeHoullier (who named the variety) did the selection work. Bill Minkey produced the seed that was then sent to Mike Dunton for grow out for Victory Seeds® to release. It was introduced by the Victory Seed Company to the gardening public for the 2025 season. Each packet contains approximately 20 seeds.
