Late Season, dwarf — The rugose, potato leaf plants of 'Dwarf Parfait' that produces lots of medium to large, six to twelve ounce, clear skinned, green fleshed tomatoes with a distinct orange core and a well balanced, delightful flavor.
The "Fancy" family originated from a cross made by Sherry Long between a selection from the Dwarf Tomato Project family "Sunny" and 'Orange Pear'. 'Dwarf Parfait' was selected and named by Susan Oliverson, with key contributors Craig LeHoullier, Susan Oliverson and Hudson England; additional significant contributions were made by Dan Follett and Dee Sackett, with final seed selection grown out by Bill Minkey. Each packet contains at least 20 seeds.
In an effort to keep this variety available to home gardeners, 'Dwarf Parfait' has been released by "The Dwarf Tomato Project" (the breeder) to the public under the Open Source Seed Initiative (OSSI). You have the freedom to use these OSSI-Pledged seeds in any way you choose. In return, if you save seeds or use 'Dwarf Parfait' to breed a new variety, you pledge not to restrict others' use of these seeds or their derivatives by patents or other means, and to include this pledge with any transfer of these seeds or their derivatives.
