85 days, dwarf — The productive rugose, regular leaf plants of 'Dwarf Noah's Stripes' produce medium to large, four to ten ounce, smooth skinned, oblate shaped fruit that are purple with distinct green colored striping and a deep crimson interior. An excellent slicing tomato, they possess a rich, lovely flavor that is well balanced between sweet and tart.
Originating from the Dwarf Tomato Project's "Beauty" family, 'Dwarf Noah's Stripes' was named by Nancy Ruhl. Contributors were Craig LeHoullier, Susan Oliverson and Bill Minkey. It was introduced by the Victory Seed Company for the 2021 gardening season. Each packet contains at least 20 seeds.
In an effort to keep this variety available to home gardeners, 'Dwarf Noah's Stripes' has been released by "The Dwarf Tomato Project" (the breeder) to the public under the Open Source Seed Initiative (OSSI). You have the freedom to use these OSSI-Pledged seeds in any way you choose. In return, if you save seeds or use 'Dwarf Noah's Stripes' to breed a new variety, you pledge not to restrict others' use of these seeds or their derivatives by patents or other means, and to include this pledge with any transfer of these seeds or their derivatives.
