Dwarf Mignonne Tomato
Dwarf Mignonne Tomato
60 days, dwarf — The rugose, regular leaf plants of 'Dwarf Mignonne' produce loads of three ounce, pear shaped fruit that ripen to yellow with strong black antho on the shoulders. They are juicy and mild. These produce very well in a wide variety of conditions, including the hot and dry climates of the Southwest. The plant is dwarf, reaching upwards of around 4 feet.
A "Dwarf Tomato Project" introduction, Craig LeHoullier crossed 'Dwarf Saucy Mary' with an unstable antho producing cherry type from Marcia Dillon (who obtained the cherry originally from Tom Wagner). The team of Master Gardeners at the Bellevue, WA Demonstration Garden grew out and selected this variety. It was named by Master Gardener Traci Hanna as a play on "minion" from the movie "Despicable Me" because the tomato looks just like a minion!
Our 2025 introduction is the 10th generation and is mostly stable. It occasionally produces red fruit with black antho as an off-type.
Very limited stock! Each packet contains at least 10 seeds.
