SKU: 340511185 days, dwarf - The rugose, regular leaf plants of 'Dwarf Edith Stone' reach five or more feet tall but are erect, sturdy and very productive. They produce smooth skinned, globe shaped, five to six ounce fruit that are scarlet red in color with yellow stripes, and quite tasty.
Emerging from the Dwarf Tomato Project's "Softy" family, 'Dwarf Edith Stone' was selected and named by Susan Oliverson after her G-G-G-Grandmother. Contributors to this variety are Craig LeHoullier and Bill Minkey and it was introduced by the Victory Seed Company for the 2021 gardening season.

I have it in a large barrel container and it's huge lush and a dark green. It gets 6-8 hrs of direct sun. So far I have no BER nor other pests. The soil has slow release fertilizer, gypsum, lime, and a cup of bone meal. It grows like my other determinate tomatoes under a cage. It sits between my Peron Spray-less Tomato and a Celebrity Plus F1 Tomato and it looks more resilient than them under similar conditions. Although it might take a little longer than them to ripen fruit.
