70 days, dwarf — The rugose, potato leaf plants of 'Dwarf Dainty Isabel' grow three to four feet in height and produce lots of small, two to five ounce, dark pink (clear skin over dark red flesh), flattened-globe shaped fruit that have a well-balanced, pleasant flavor.
Developed by members of the "Dwarf Tomato Project," ''Dwarf Dainty Isabel' was selected from the "Dainty" family and named by Susan Oliverson. Along with key contributor Susan Oliverson, other "Dwarf Tomato Project" members participating in its development were Craig LeHoullier with Bill Minkey growing out the final selection. Each packet contains at least 20 seeds.
In an effort to keep this variety available to home gardeners, 'Dwarf Dainty Isabel' has been released by "The Dwarf Tomato Project" (the breeder) to the public under the Open Source Seed Initiative (OSSI). You have the freedom to use these OSSI-Pledged seeds in any way you choose. In return, if you save seeds or use 'Dwarf Dainty Isabel' to breed a new variety, you pledge not to restrict others' use of these seeds or their derivatives by patents or other means, and to include this pledge with any transfer of these seeds or their derivatives.
