Harvest Timing: Main Crop / Mid-Season
Full light and cooler temps (60ยฐ to 70ยฐ) will help to prevent the seedlings from becoming too leggy. If plants become rootbound before you can safely set them into the ground, transplant them into larger pots.
Harden off plants before planting outside. Young plants are very susceptible to frost and sunburn damage. Avoid too much nitrogen. Water evenly but not in excess.

Loved the taste of this tomato

We in the project love working with the Beauty line - one never knows what sort of color combination will emerge. This is a classic scarlet tomato with vertical jagged gold stripes, a nice medium sized, slightly oblate fruit, and good yield potential. the flesh is deep crimson, and the flavor has it all. The Beauty family releases may be more particular with the climate of the grower - in Raleigh, they had great years and more shy bearing years, but mostly fine. One key is to do a bit of foliage thinning in the plant center to allow air circulation, which minimizes the potential for fungal foliage issues in humid climates. This is well worth a try - it just may end up being one of your favorite tomatoes. I love it!
