This dill has done really good in my garden this year. It came up slow enough to give the cucumbers time to grow in so I'd be able to use it in pickling. It's not super tall, which is nice too.

This dill grew very slowly in my garden. I didn't get much and it never set seed, but I must mention the aroma. The leaves put out intense flavor and fragrance. This is not the usual sharp dill smell; it's mild and floral with jasmine and rose overtones. This would be amazing with salmon, but may be too mild for pickles. I didn't get enough to try much. When dried, it loses much potency. The flavor and fragrance remain the same, but you need to use a lot more of it. I intend to plant this again, but I think I'll start it early in pots. Maybe I'll just grow it inside on a sunny windowsill. Unlike the usual mammoth dill , it doesn't grow very big.
