Dinner Plate
85 days, indeterminate — A regular leaf variety that as the name implies, produces large (up to twenty-four ounce), pink, heart-shaped fruit that when sliced, have the potential of covering a dinner plate.We received this variety in 2001 from heirloom tomato collector and tomato expert, the late Chuck Wyatt. Each packet contains approximately 20 seeds.
Disclaimer from Mike: The plants do produce some really large fruit that depending on the size of your plates, could conceivable cover one, but the sizes do vary. We didn’t name this old variety and don’t make any guarantees.
