Bi-color Cherry Tomato

Solanum lycopersicum

Price: $2.95

SKU: 3401901

80 days, indeterminate - An interesting cherry tomato. The fruit are small, mostly in the one ounce range, globe-shaped, and bi-colored yellow with red streaking throughout the flesh. Their size is not consistent with fruit ranging from one to two inches in diameter. The flavors are excellent, sweet and juicy. Tastes like 'Big Rainbow' but in a small fruit.

We received this variety from author and tomato authority Craig LeHoullier who received it from Reinhard Kraft of Germany.
Tomato Uses: Small Fruits / Salads
Harvest Timing: Main Crop / Mid-Season
Sow seeds indoors (do not direct sow into the garden), using sterile seed starting mix, 6 to 8 weeks before your last expected frost date. Plant 1/4" deep, water lightly but keep moist until emergence.

Full light and cooler temps (60° to 70°) will help to prevent the seedlings from becoming too leggy. If plants become rootbound before you can safely set them into the ground, transplant them into larger pots.

Harden off plants before planting outside. Young plants are very susceptible to frost and sunburn damage. Avoid too much nitrogen. Water evenly but not in excess.

★★★★☆ Thanks Victory!

I just had my first two, and this my first time growing this variety. A few were wider than a quarter, and slightly sweet. Hopefully, the people I gave plants to are having the same results. Thanks Victory!
