55 days to maturity. Compact, upright plants growing 18" tall with heavy yields. Resistant to Halo Blight, Anthracnose, and Bean Common Mosaic Virus. Seed development is slow, providing a long harvest window. Beans are about half-inch in diameter, and 6 inches long. Suitable for mechanical harvests.
Special Groups: Market Growers
Planting Instructions:
Beans prefer well-drained, rich soil in a sunny location. Make sure that you keep them well watered in the summer heat. Don’t bother trying to get an early start with beans – you’ll waste a lot of seed! Beans are tender and you should not plant them until all danger of frost has passed and the soil remains above 65ºF.
Sow seeds 1½ inches deep, every two to three inches. Bush-type beans do not require support.
Pick the pods while young as they are more tender and succulent and less likely to be stringy.

First time trying these. Very prolific, grew to 2.5-3" tall, and continued to set beans with regular pickings. Nice size, relatively straight (unless caught between branches - J ). I planted three 20' rows, canned 21 quarts (still had beans left from previous years), dehydrated several times, let a friend pick a 5 gallon bucket, gave away 40+ lbs............ When I tired of canning, drying and giving them away, I pulled up the plants and harvested about 3 lbs of small, slender petite beans which we had for several meals - YUMMMMM My new favorite green bean!!
