Antigua Bush Garden Bean
Antigua Bush Garden Bean
55 days to maturity. Compact, upright plants growing 18" tall with heavy yields. Resistant to Halo Blight, Anthracnose, and Bean Common Mosaic Virus. Seed development is slow, providing a long harvest window. Beans are about half-inch in diameter, and 6 inches long. Suitable for mechanical harvests. Each ounce contains around 145 seeds.
Sow seeds 1½ inches deep, every two to three inches. Bush-type beans do not require support.
Pick the pods while young as they are more tender and succulent and less likely to be stringy.
