Zinnia, Envy

Envy Zinnia is a unique variety known for its vibrant chartreuse-green flowers, a rare color in the flower world. The semi-double to double blooms measure 3-4 inches across and stand out beautifully in gardens, borders, and floral arrangements. Zinnia flowers are edible and can be used to decorate summer dishes like salads, fruit platters, and desserts. Although the petals have little flavor, they make an attractive garnish. The central disk of the flower is also edible but may taste bitter. Use the blooms to garnish homegrown tomato slices or watermelon for a vibrant display. Try combining them with white, deep blue, or pink flowers in bouquets. Each packet contains 1 gram, which is about 150 seeds.
