★★★★★ good cooking onion
By Anne Holzinger on January 28, 2020

Started indoors in February for spring transplant. Got some large onions but a lot were small. Not a problem, sometimes you just need a little onion and a small one is just fine. I don't blame the onion, the weeds got ahead of me last year. Good cooking onion.

★★★★★ Great Sweet Onions
By Esther Jones on August 11, 2016

I planted the whole package, and all of them germinated, so I had waaaay too many onion starts! Next year, I will probably do four different planting and spread them out over our growing season. That said, I used the starts I didn't have room for as green onions in all kinds of dishes, and the ones that actually made it into the garden are large and sweet. I'm very pleased with these.

★★★★★ Wonderful Onions - Plan to grow even more next year!!
By Amy Schafer on October 29, 2014

I grew these onions this summer in our small garden. They grew wonderfully! I planted seeds in late April and harvested full sized onions in September! I was surprised at the nice size of onions . . . they were big full size onions! I use a soaker hose for my watering needs and they loved it. I did have to remove the soaker from them as one was getting too much water and was starting to mold. Plan to grow even more next year!!
