60 days — 'White Egg', also known as 'Snowball', is a fast growing turnip that as its name implies, is egg-shaped and white in color. Since the root partially develops above the ground, it tends to be greenish-white at the crown. Its flesh is mild, sweet, tender, fine-grained and crisp. Each packet contains 0.5 gram, which is approximately 125 seeds. (aka Snowball)
Planting Instructions: Choose a location with rich well-drained soil that receives six to eight hours of full sunlight per day. Loosen to a depth of one foot and rake smooth.
Plant seeds directly outdoors in as soon as soil can be worked. Plant ½ inch deep, ½ to one inch apart. Firm soil and keep moist until seedlings appear. When plants are 1½ tall, thin so that plants are two to three inches apart in rows spaced 18 inches apart.
Water as required and keep the soil cultivated to control weeds.
