White Delicatesse Kohlrabi

60 days - 'White Delicatesse' has greenish-white skin, creamy-white flesh, and is similar in size to 'Early White Vienna' except that it exhibits more uniformity in growth and disease resistance. They have a nice, mild, turnip-like flavor, crispy texture, but without the pungency that turnips exhibit.

We enjoy them raw by simply peeling and slicing. A little salt can be sprinkled on them as desired. Additionally, the greens are used to make an excellent soup.
