Purple Top White Globe
Planting Instructions: Choose a location with rich well-drained soil that receives six to eight hours of full sunlight per day. Loosen to a depth of one foot and rake smooth.
Plant seeds directly outdoors in as soon as soil can be worked. Plant ½ inch deep, ½ to one inch apart. Firm soil and keep moist until seedlings appear. When plants are 1½ tall, thin so that plants are two to three inches apart in rows spaced 18 inches apart.
Water as required and keep the soil cultivated to control weeds.

Really a fun turnip to grow! I've grow other varieties but the purple top is as fun as growing scarlet carrots! A particularly resilient and easy to grow variety. It should work for even the novice.

What is not to love about these wonderful turips! Easy grow from August and still eating them in November! The BEST TURNIPS I have ever had! The Greens were wonderful too! Great in Salads!
