80 days, determinate — An orange-fruited tomato bred to be superior in disease resistance and plant habit over other southern market varieties. Plants are compact and produce heavy yields of smooth-skinned, medium-large (up to 14 ounce) fruit that are flattened-globe shaped.
Originally titled NC 84173, this open-pollinated variety was released in 1990. Bred by Dr. Randolph G. Gardner at the North Carolina State Mountain Horticultural Crops Research Station. PVP expired in 2010.
