Moss Verbena 'Sweetheart Kisses'
Moss Verbena 'Sweetheart Kisses'
Verbena tenuisecta
‘Sweetheart Kisses’ is a long-blooming verbena with a breathtaking range of colors including red, rose, pink, and white blossoms. This stunning variety was recognized in 2024 as an All-America Selections National Winner and received Approved Novelty protection from Fleuroselect.
Ideal for low-maintenance gardening, ‘Sweetheart Kisses’ thrives in containers, hanging baskets, or as a groundcover. It’s perfect for edging or medium planting, and its uniform mounding habit makes it a standout in mass plantings. The plant’s finely textured foliage gives it a delicate, airy look that complements other plants in mixed arrangements.
Native to South America, this heat- and drought-tolerant verbena is resilient in poor soils and blooms continuously from spring through fall, with flowers appearing just 55 days after planting. Typically grown as an annual, it can also act as a tender perennial in USDA Zones 8-10. Each packet contains 0.1 grams, which is around 100 seeds
