45 days to maturity. Mini-Me is a parthenocarpic cucumber variety, meaning it will set fruit without pollinators. This makes it perfect for greenhouse or indoor hydroponic growing. A mini Beit-Alpha type, Mini-Me produces shiny green, spineless fruits that are best harvested when they reach 3 to 3.5 inches in length. The plants are extremely productive, yielding 2 to 5 uniform fruits per node. The cucumbers are burpless, with a crisp, delicious interior and mild skin that doesn't require peeling.

Planting Instructions: Cucumbers grow best with long, hot, humid days with maximum sunshine and warm nights. Plants are extremely susceptible to frost. Sow seeds outside only after danger of frost when soil has warmed. Make a second sowing 4 to 5 weeks later for a late summer or early fall harvest. For an earlier harvest and to reduce the threat of insect damage to seedlings, start a few plants indoors in individual pots (or trays with separate compartments) about a month before your last spring frost date.
Sowing: To seed in rows, plant seeds 1 inch deep and about 6 inches apart. To plant in hills, plant four or five seeds in 1-foot-diameter circles set 5 to 6 feet apart.

Fast growing cucumber! Can take over a space quickly. Highly recommend growing up a large trellis that is at least 5 ft. I would not feel comfortable growing this hydroponically indoors unless it's a big set up and you plan to hand pollinate. Bees are a must have to shake the blooms for cucumber production. Cucumber production flourishes in 78+ degrees but below 95. Very crisp, juicy cucumbers. I had no production in the beginning due to lack of bees. Planted in April, first cucumber in June, died in late July from high temps. It was producing heavily. Highly recommend for new gardeners!
