SKU: 33100131The upright, vigorous plants reach about 24 inches tall and provide excellent canopy protection over the peppers. Resistant to Tobacco Mosaic Virus (TMV), this variety produces heavy yields and thrives in gardens, greenhouses, or containers. 1988 AAS Edible-Vegetable winner.
Transplant only after night temperatures average above 55°F. Plants are tender and thrive in warm weather. Blossoms drop if temperatures fall below 60°F or if they get too much nitrogen.

Had better luck germinating these than the other peppers I grew. I did them the lazy way, just popped em right into a seedling tray instead of doing the damp paper towel trick, and these performed great in spite of that.
It's late July, I've got a cluster of nearly fist-sized green peppers on my plants. I picked one that was about to touch the ground and ate it green. What a great flavor!! More heat than I expected, and a smokiness almost like a ghost pepper flavor. Heat was like a mean jalapeño. I can't wait to start cooking with these!!

This was my first year growing peppers from seed, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the quality of these seeds. They germinated quickly, with a high germination rate and strong seedlings to show. Against the other brands of pepper seed I planted, Victory Seeds Mexibell F1 performed consistently as my best.
