'Lizard Tail Orinoco' is a flue-cured (dark-fired) type of tobacco historically grown for use in pipe and cigarette tobacco blends. Can also be used for cigar filler and chewing tobacco. Grown in Virginia for many years, the leaves are closely spaced on the stalk, heavy bodied, and are of medium size.

Its parentage includes the old Virginian 'Orinoco'. Our seed stock originated with USDA accession number PI 552377.
