[ Approximately 100 seeds per packet ]
Also known as 'Kentucky 5', 'KY 5' is a Burley-type tobacco. It was grown historically to be used for plug tobacco, cigarette and pipe blending and cigar filler blending.
Our seed originated from USDA accession number PI 551278 donated in 1929 by the University of Kentucky. Our 'KY 5' seed was sent to us by David Pendergrass from Tennessee.
